ABSTRACT

 

Productivity is a factor that determines teacher education programs in schools. Therefore need to be developed, so that the teacher is a strategic element as educators who have the professional skills and able to give birth to the educational process relevant to the situation, condition, and needs of the community. Conversely low teacher performance will impact negatively on the educational process in the school.

This study aimed 1) to determine and analyze the effect of managerial capability variables, school leadership and teachers' motivation to work simultaneously on the productivity of the private high school teacher in District Sentani Jayapura City, 2) to identify and analyze the effect of managerial capability variables, leadership school and work motivation of teachers partially on the productivity of the private high school teacher in District Sentani Jayapura City, and 3) to identify and analyze the more dominant influence variables (managerial skills, leadership principals, and teachers' work motivation) on the productivity of school teachers Private Senior High District City of Jayapura Sentani.

This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The research is conducted to examine the status of a group of people, an object, a set of conditions in the present. The study was conducted with a quantitative method by distributing questionnaires to 109 respondents in the Private High School in District Sentani Jayapura City. Sampling studies using non-probability sampling with a total sampling technique.

The results showed the influence of managerial capability variables on teacher productivity is 54.3%, the influence of principal leadership variables on teacher productivity is 61.6%, the influence of teachers' work motivation variables on teacher productivity is 68.6%, while the variable effect of managerial ability and school leadership on teacher productivity is 34.2%, the effect of variable managerial ability and motivation of teachers to teacher productivity is 43.6%, the variable effect of principal leadership and work motivation teachers teacher productivity is 38.4%, and the effect of variable managerial skills, school leadership and work motivation of teachers to teacher’s productivity is 43.0%.
